2) Working on upper cam hex. nut (3, fig. 539)
spread the shoe to take up clearance to .010"
(0.25 rom); check clearance
with
feeler A. 95316.
3) Insert the .004" (0.10 rom) stock between
shoe and drum at lower campins; screw out the
campin nut (I, fig. 542), back up the campin (fig. 543)
to disengage it from the stop plate and replace the
carnpin one or two serrations on, so to approach
the shoe to the drum for a clearance of .004"
(0.10
rom).

necessary, again tum the upper cam in or out
to obtain the recommended clearance both at top
and bottom.
