You can create a parameter set offline via ACS Service, e.g. in the office (branch office)
without connection to the central communication unit.
After online creation, copy the parameter set to a data carrier via "Export parameters",
e.g. to the laptop used to commission the plant on site.
On site, select function "Import parameter" to load the parameter set in ACS and then
select "Write parameter" to enter the parameters in the central communication unit.
The following functions are available only online:
• Edit device list
• Create device list
• Refresh device list
• Refresh reference data points

4.1.2 Copy standard parameter set

You must create a copy of the standard parameter set before project-specific para-
meterization of the central communication unit, especially when:
• You do not intend to use basic type, but e.g. Z03; see Section 7.3.
• Inputs N.X1...8 and/or outputs N.Q1...N.Q8 are used.
You can copy a parameter set in 3 different ways:
• Directly copy the standard parameter set (see example below).
• Create a new parameter set copy (new) via
1.
Applications > Parameter settings...
2.
Expand the menu tree and select the device (central communication unit with
device address 150 for our example).
3.
Create a new parameter set by selecting
• Import the parameter set (existing copy) via:
1.
Applications > Parameter settings...
2.
Expand the menu tree and select the device (central communication unit with
device address 150 for our example).
3.
Right-click
Device address 150
import an existing parameter set.
Directly copy standard parameter set.
A plant with "central communication unit type OZW775" exists and the device list is up
to date.
