The central communication unit contains various function blocks (FB). The terminal and
function block inputs/outputs as well as the interfaces play a key role in parameteriza-
tion.

Use digital inputs N.D1...N.D8 to connect potential-free status contacts. These inputs
act as fault inputs when connected to FB "Faults". When connected to FB "Operating
hours", the operating hours of aggregates (burners, pumps, fans, etc.), can be counted.
You can configure universal inputs N.X1...N.X8 for potential-free status and counting
impulse contacts as well as analog signals from sensors and measured value
transmitters.
Universal inputs configured for status contacts (digital) or limit values (analog) and
connected to FB "Faults" act as fault inputs.
The operating hours can be acquired when you configure universal inputs for operating
status contacts of aggregates and connect them to FB "Operating hours".
Consumption values (heat, gas, electricity, etc.) can be acquired when you configure
universal inputs for counting pulses and connect them to FB "Meters".
The outputs of relays N.Q1...N.Q4 have NC contacts, those of relays N.Q7, N.Q8 have
NO contacts. Relay 1 and/or relay 2 of FB "Faults" are connected to one of the relays
N.Q_ to signal faults (e.g. with signal lamps, horns).
If one of the relays N.Q_ is connected to an FB "7-day time switch with control switch",
relay N.Q_ in "Auto" position operates as per the time switch program, otherwise as per
the control switch position "Off" or "On".
