6.4.4 ACS Alarm on PC/laptop
Parameterization and commissioning are complete.
• Start "ACS Alarm" on the PC/laptop.
• Select
Tools > Connections
• Select "TCP/IP" in the "Connections" dialog box and click
A green checkmark indicates the connection is monitored.
• Click
in the "Connections" dialog box.
Port settings
• If default port number 49194 is not valid for "ACS Alarm", enter the new port number
in dialog box "Port settings" and confirm with
• Confirm the entries made in dialog box "Connections" with
• PC/laptop is set up to receive alarm messages via Ethernet TCP/IP in program "ACS
Alarm".
Check communication after you configure the data points and set up ACS Alarm on the
PC/laptop.
Send a test system report to a message receiver. If the test is successful, data point
"System report sent" confirms with "Yes".
