of the equipment or subassembly MUST NOT be metallically connected to interfaces
that connect to the OSP or its wiring. These interfaces are designed for use as intrabuilding
interfaces only (Type 2 or Type 4 ports as described in GR-1089-CORE), and require
isolation from the exposed OSP cabling. The addition of primary protectors is not sufficient
protection to connect these interfaces metallically to OSP wiring

MX10008 Rack Requirements

The MX10008 router chassis are designed to be installed in four-post racks.
Rack requirements consist of:
Rack type
Mounting bracket hole spacing
Rack size and strength
Rack connection to the building structure
Table 30 on page 97 provides the rack requirements and specifications for the MX10008 router .
