CAUTION — Service Interruption
Loss of Data
If the data dump does not succeed, do not continue.
Contact your technical support organization. You must
correct a data dump problem before the system can be
upgraded.

The messages "DATADUMP COMPLETE" and "DATABASE BACKUP
COMPLETE" will appear once the data dump is complete.

Remove and label the floppy disk.
Preserve database backup information for a minimum of
5 days.
CAUTION — Data Loss
The PC utility used in the following procedure
(mkbootrmd.exe) does not validate whether the drive
letter entered is a valid RMD CF card. You must enter
the correct RMD drive letter when prompted or risk
formatting the incorrect drive.
Note: This utility is supported by all versions of
Microsoft Windows.
The installation RMD CF card must come preformatted and bootable from
Avaya. Consumer CF cards are not bootable by default and must be made
bootable as outlined in Procedure 3 on
December 2013
