4. After the turn of the vessel, click the [Service State] button again.
When the turn of the vessel goes long, raise the setting value of [FWD DIST NM].
When the turn of the vessel goes sharp, lower the setting value of [FWD DIST
NM].

When the turn of the vessl goes sharp
[Check Required] checkbox
When you check the checkbox of [Check Required] on the [Function1] tab of the [Ship
& Route Parameters] setting window, a route that is not checked for safe navigation
can not be monitored. For the DNV class ship, check this checkbox.
Note: The route shown below can not be monitored regardless the setting of this
checkbox.
• The route that have one waypoint or no waypoint.
• The route that have impossible turns.
How to confirm the connection between the ECDIS and autopilot
Confirm the connection between the ECDIS and autopilot by simulating the TCS func-
tion in the service mode. When simulating the TCS function, the vessel can not turn.

ters] setting window.
