SUBJECT: CONTROLLER LOCK–UP WHEN PRINTING
SYMPTOM:
Data In (Buffer) Light keeps blinking; machine indicates "Printing" or "Waiting" but nothing prints.
CAUSE:
PCL interpreter continues waiting for "tandem tray ready" status from the mainframe because the interpreter
misses the "tandem tray ready" status after auto-loading paper in the tandem tray.
SOLUTION:
Upgrade to printer firmware version V1.09 or higher.
Firmware version 1.09 (file name B064/65PrtScnV1.09.EXE) can be downloaded through the Technology
Solutions Center FTP Site at http://tsc.ricohcorp.com.
