SUBJECT: SERVICE MANUAL – INSERTS "POWER-OFF PROCEDURE"
GENERAL:
The B064/B065 requires a special procedure when powering off the unit. All references in the service
manual for "Switch the main power switch off" have been changed to "Power off the machine (! 1.1.5)".
Section 1.1.5, Power Requirements, details the proper technique for powering off the unit. See !Caution
below:
!
CAUTION
Never turn off the main power switch when the operation power LED is lit
or flashing. To avoid damaging the hard disk or memory, press the
operation power switch to switch the power off, wait for the operation
power LED to go off, and then switch the main power switch off.
The Service Manual pages listed below must be replaced with the pages supplied. Each bulletin package
contains 1 set of replacement pages.
