1. Disconnect the connector.
2. Remove the snap ring.
3. Remove the drive rod.
4. Replace the Waste Toner Vertical
Transport Unit (install B0653554, 1 screw,
1 snap-fit).
5. Removing the Steel Ball:
NOTE: The length of the coil in the
waste toner vertical transport
unit has been increased as
shown below. It is was
necessary to remove the steel
ball in the lower waste toner
transport unit to prevent a loud
noise that will occur if the coil
contacts the ball.
