1. Select the [Advanced Settings] icon (

3. Select [HF] or [LF], as appropriate, from the [Sounder] item from the [External Fish
Finder] menu, on the left-side of the window. The external fish finder settings are
shown on the right-side of the window.
4. Select the [TVG Level] setting. The adjust buttons appear to the far right of the
TVG level indication.
5. Select the  button to decrease TVG, or select the  button to increase TVG.
This setting affects the DFF3 and DDF1-UHD as shown below.
• DFF1-UHD: Increase the setting to increase gain at close range.
• DFF3: Decrease the setting to increase gain at close range.
6. Select [Apply] to save the current changes and change or adjust other settings.
Select [OK] to save the current changes and close the menu window.
Select [Cancel] to abort all changes and close the menu window.

1. Place the cursor inside the external fish finder screen, then right-click. The [Exter-
nal Fish Finder] menu appears.
2. The [Sounder] menu is already selected.
3. Select the frequency for the sounder you want to adjust. [HF] for high frequency,
[LF] for low frequency. The settings for the selected frequency appear on the right-
side of the window.
4. Select [TVG Level]. The adjust buttons appear to the far right of the TVG distance
indication.
5. Select the  button to decrease TVG, or select the  button to increase TVG.
This setting affects the DFF3 and DDF1-UHD as shown below.
• DFF1-UHD: Increase the setting to increase gain at close range.
• DFF3: Decrease the setting to increase gain at close range.
6. Select [Apply] to save the current changes and change or adjust other settings.
Select [OK] to save the current changes and close the menu window.
Select [Cancel] to abort all changes and close the menu window.
