How to run a diagnostic test

If you feel your unit is not working properly, you can run a diagnostic test. The test
shows the operational status of connected equipment, check the status of the RAM
and ROM and displays software versions for your equipment.
To run a diagnostic test, select [Maintenance Information] from the [Tests] menu. The
test results appear in a similar fashion to that shown below.

The [Communication Port Monitor] shows the incoming data for each communication
port in the processor unit. To access the [Communication Port Monitor], select [Com-
munication Port Monitor] from the [Tests] menu.
