How to adjust TVG for FCV-2100

The procedure outlined below is for sounders connected directly to the FCV-2100. For
external fish finder, see section 1.26.2.
1. Select the [Advanced Settings] icon (

The [Advanced Settings] window appears.
3. The [Sounder] menu item is already selected and the [Sounder] menu appears on
the right-side of the window.
4. Select [TVG Level] from the [Sounder] menu. The adjust buttons appear to the far
right of the TVG level indication.
5. Select the  button to decrease the setting, or select the  button to increase the
setting. A higher setting reduces the gain for nearby echoes.
6. Select [TVG Distance]. The adjust buttons appear to the far right of the [TVG dis-
tance] indication.
7. Select the  button to decrease the distance from which TVG is applied, or select
the  button to increase the distance from which TVG is applied.
8. Select [Apply] to save the current changes and change or adjust other settings.
Select [OK] to save the current changes and close the menu window.
Select [Cancel] to abort all changes and close the menu window.
