2. Select the [Add] button, near the bottom-right of the menu. The new mode is add-
ed to the mode list.
3. Select [Apply] to apply the changes and delete or edit a different mode. Select
[OK] to apply the changes and close the menu. Select [Cancel] to cancel any
changes made and close the menu.
How to edit a mode
You can edit the contents of a display mode at any time. To edit a mode, do the fol-
lowing:
1. With the [Mode] menu displayed, select the display mode you wish to edit, from
the mode list.
2. At the right-side of the menu window, select the contents you wish to change. A
drop-down list of options appears.
3. Select the appropriate item, referring to the table in "How to add a mode" on the
previous page.
4. Select [Apply] to apply the changes and edit a different mode. Select [OK] to apply
the changes and close the menu. Select [Cancel] to cancel any changes made
and close the menu.
How to delete a mode
1. With the [Mode] menu displayed, select the display mode you wish to delete, from
the mode list.
2. At the bottom-right of the window, select [Delete].
3. Select [Apply] to apply the changes and delete or edit a different mode. Select
[OK] to apply the changes and close the menu. Select [Cancel] to cancel any
changes made and close the menu.

Menu item Description
No split screen is displayed. If the second item is set to
[Not Selected], the third and fourth items show no op-
tions.
Displayed as "ZM" in the mode list. Adds the zoomed
area to the split screen.
Displayed as "HE" in the mode list. Adds the external
sounder's high frequency images to the split screen.
Displayed as "LE" in the mode list. Adds the external
sounder's low frequency images to the split screen.
