Energy Conserve

This setting controls what values appear on the Power Saver menu.

From the Configuration menu, select Energy Conserve.

Select one of the following:
On—The Power Saver feature cannot be turned off. On is the factory default setting.
Off—Disabled appears in the Power Saver menu, but Power Saver can be turned off.

Depending on your printer model, touch Submit or press the Select button to apply the changes.
Min Copy Memory
This setting determines how much DRAM is allowed to be stored in the priority queue for copy jobs.
Note: The values appear only if the amount of installed DRAM is at least twice the amount of the value.

Enter the Configuration menu, and then select Min Copy Memory.

Select a setting.

Apply the changes.
NumPad Job Assist
This setting determines if you can configure and initiate a job using the hard buttons of the control panel.

Enter the Configuration menu, and then select NumPad Job Assist.

Format Fax Storage
This setting enables you to format the non-volatile storage for faxes.

Enter the Configuration menu, and then select Format Fax Storage.
Note: If an advanced password has been established, then enter the password to change the setting. If
no advanced password exists, then establish one by using the keyboard that appears on the screen.

Apply the changes.
Fax Storage Location
This setting allows you to store faxes on the hard disk or NAND.
Note: This setting appears only if a hard disk is installed. The printer automatically stores all buffered faxes
on NAND when no hard disk is installed.

Enter the Configuration menu, and then select Fax Storage Location.
