Changing subnet netmask value

The subnet mask is set using procedure
to change the subnet mask to the default value or clear the subnet mask.
Procedure
1. Log on to the ACLI Global Configuration mode.
2. At the command prompt, enter the following command:

The following table describes the parameters for the ip netmask command.

Setting default gateway

Use this procedure to set the IP default gateway address for a switch, change the IP default
gateway address to the default address, or clear the IP default gateway address.
Important:
When you change the IP gateway address, you can lose connection to Telnet and the Web.
You also can disable any new Telnet connection required to connect to the serial Console
port to configure a new IP Gateway address.
Procedure
1. Log on to the ACLI Global Configuration mode.
2. At the command prompt, enter the following command:

Value
Sets the subnet mask to the default value
(255.255.255.0).
Sets the subnet mask for a switch to all zeros
(0.0.0.0).
