ENGINE CRANKS BUT WON'T RUN
2.5L "P" SERIES (TBI)
Circuit Description:
Ignition voltage is supplied to the fuel injector on CKT 439. The injector will be pulsed (turned "ON" and
"OFF"), when the ECM opens and grounds injector drive CKT 467.
Test Description:
Numbers below refer to circled
numbers on the diagnostic chart.
1. No blinking light indicates no ECM control of the
injector or a wiring problem.
2. There is a remote possibility that the resistance
across the injector terminals is less than 1.2 ohms
and has resulted in a blown fuse for CKT 439 in
which case the injector should be replaced.
