Glossary

[10BASE-T]
A 10 Mbps Ethernet network that uses a baseband signal and twisted-pair cable. It is one of the
IEEE802.3 standards.
[100BASE-TX]
An extended version of 10BASE-T known as Fast Ethernet. Its communication speed is 100 Mbps,
which is much faster than 10 Mbps of 10BASE-T.
[1000BASE-T]
One of the Gigabit Ethernet Standards with 1 Gbps communication speed at its maximum.
[Address]
Information (identifier) that is assigned to identify each node (computer or terminal) on a
