immediately after requesting a print job. In this case, printing will be performed from the saved
print data when the power is switched back on again, even if a new print job has been is
requested.
• When the [LPD Spool] setting is [Hard Disk]
All of the print data spooled in the printer's hard disk, including data that is currently being
printed, is saved on the printer's hard disk. Printing will be performed from the saved print data
when the power is switched back to on again, even if a new print job has been is requested.
• When the [LPD Spool] setting is [No Spooling]
All of the print data spooled in the printer's receiving receive buffer, including data that is
currently being printed, is deleted. The print data does not exist is not available when the
power is switched back to on. However, print data may be saved on your computer if the power
is switched off immediately after requesting a print job. In this case, printing will be performed
from the saved print data when the power is switched back on again, even if a new print job
has been is requested.
Printing
• When the [LPD Spool] setting is [Hard Disk] or [Memory]
If the size of the print data is greater than the remaining capacity of hard disk or memory
capacity at the time that receiving the print data receive starts, that print data cannot be
received.
Note
• Some computers may resend the print data immediately automatically if the size of the print data exceeds the
receive capacity. If this happens, it may appear as if the computer has hung up. To avoid this, cancel sending print
data on the computer.
• When the [LPD Spool] setting is [No Spooling]
While a print request is being received from one computer, a print request from another
computer cannot be received.
• When the computer's IP address or and computer name has been changed
The query contact processing or canceling requests from the computer and the delete process
may not operate correctly after the computer's IP address and/or the computer name has
been changed. While there is no print data in the printer's receive buffer, turn the power off
and then back on again.
Note
• A control panel operation can be used to cancel or force-eject printing of the print data in the printer's receive
buffer. For information about the procedure you should use, refer to "2.5 Canceling/Checking a Print Job" (P. 61).

Notes and Restriction for Using Secondary Ethernet (Optional)

This section describes notes and restrictions to observe when using Secondary Ethernet
(optional).
• The exceptions setting dialog box may be displayed when you access CentreWare Internet
Services using FQDN by Ethernet 2 while enabling [HTTP - SSL/TLS
• The job log does not record Ethernet1 and Ethernet2 separately. You cannot identify which
network has transmitted a job.
• The remaining level of consumables and the meter value information transmitted from the
machine are identical between Ethernet 1 and Ethernet 2. When you use the software which
is not supplied by Fuji Xerox to check the machine usage status, please do not set IP address
to avoid the duplication of machine information. Instead of IP address, set the machine-
specific information such as UUID depending on the software you use.
• When [Print Queue] in [LPD] is set to [Job Submit Order], no priority of print order occurs
between Ethernet 1 and Ethernet 2.
