Installing and using drivers and
other software
Some tips on installing and using drivers or other software in critical
situations or under particular circumstances are provided below.

Installing video drivers

Included with your system is a Cirrus Logic Windows NT 4.0 diskette.
When loading your video drivers, use the drivers provided on this diskette
instead of the ones on the Windows NT CD-ROM. The drivers on the
Windows NT CD-ROM may not work correctly with your system.

Installing the USB driver

To use a USB device, you must install the USB driver in a computer
running Windows 95. A 3.5-inch diskette labeled "Integrated Controller
UATA files for Win 95" was shipped with your computer. You must use this
diskette to install the USB driver.
1.
Start the computer.
Put the 3.5-inch diskette labeled "Integrated Controller UATA files for
2.
Win 95" into the diskette drive.
Open the Readme.1st file and follow the instructions on screen.
3.
After you have installed the USB driver, you can install the USB device by
connecting it to a USB port on the rear cover. You may also need to install
software that came with the device. Check the device documentation for
additional information.
