4 Maintaining and Troubleshooting the Gateway ALR 8200 Server

Removing the wrap-around panel

Disconnect all power cords. Unlock the chassis keylock if necessary.

Remove the side panel as described above.

3. On the rear of the system, remove the two screws that secure the panel
to the chassis. Also remove the screw at the top of the system. (See
Figure 2.) Save the screws.

Slide the panel backward a few inches.

5. Lift the bottom of the panel outward so that its top is angled on the
chassis, as shown in Figure 2.
Lift the panel up and off of the chassis and set the panel aside.
