5. DIAG. TEST OPERATION

5.3.10 Resolution Selection

Using the following procedure, the resolution can be selected between Normal Mode and Fine
Mode.
Press the [FEED] key or [RESTART] key to
resolution of printer.
Press the [FEED] key or [RESTART] key
at the same time
NOTES: 1. Holding the [FEED] key or [RESTART] key down for more than 0.5 seconds
2. A changed setting is stored in memory by pressing the [PAUSE] key.
3. If the Fine Mode is selected without using the printer driver exclusively for the fine
Power off
Turn on the power while
holding down the [FEED]
key and [PAUSE] key.

Press the [FEED] key.
< 2 > P A R A M E T E R
Press the [PAUSE] key.
P O S I T I O N
Press the [FEED] nine times.
R E S O L U T I O N
Press the [PAUSE] key .
N O R M A L M O D E
enables a fast forward.
