example, if Zone 10 is violated, armed, or disarmed, it will display zone 9 tamper. NOTE: If
this feature is enabled, then the total zone capacity of the system will be reduced by one-half
(for example, a 128 zone system becomes 64 zones plus 64 tampers).
Bypass Code
084 BYPASS CODE
6 ( 0 - F )
Indicates the system reporting code for a bypass. An option exists per zone to determine
whether bypasses are reported. Bypasses will be reported to the Central Station based on the
bypass option selected in question #167.
If transmitting the PID format then the following dedicated bypass codes will be transmitted based
on the type of event:
Zone Bypass
Fire Bypass
Burg Zone Bypass
Bypass Restore Code
085 BYP RES CODE

Indicates the system reporting code for a bypass restore. An option exists per zone to
determine whether bypasses are reported. Bypasses will be reported to the Central Station
based on the bypass option selected in question #167.
If transmitting in PID format then the bypass code transmitted will be the fixed code as
described in the Bypass code question with an indication that the signal is a restore.
Abort Code
086 ABORT CODE

( 0 - F )
Indicates the reporting code for an abort. This abort code will only be transmitted if the
action on abort (question #052) specifies Abort. Abort codes will be followed by the zone code
for conventional formats and the user code in the PID format.
If PID format is used then a code of 406 will be transmitted.
Opening Code
087 OPEN CODE
B
( 0 - F )
Indicates the reporting code for an opening. If the system is partitioned then the account
number transmitted to the Central station will depend on the partition where the opening
occurred. In addition if the transmission format selected includes the user code then the user
number will also be included based on the Open/Close transmission path defined in question
033.
