Bell Ringback At Closing
047 BELL RBAK
NO
Indicates whether there will be a bell ringback at closing. If YES then the bell (relay 1) will
pulse several times indicating a successful closing signal to the Central Station. If the system
is partitioned then this can occur for each of the partitions. Default = NO. Press the 0 key to
toggle between the available choices.
Sounder Ringback
048 SOUND RBAK
YES
Indicates whether a keypad sounder ringback will occur and applies to all signals
transmitted to the Central Station. This is similar to the bell ringback option described in
the previous question except this involves the keypad sounder. If the system is partitioned
then the sounder ringback will occur at the keypads defined for the partition that has closed.
Default = Yes. Press the 0 key to toggle between the available choices.

For UL applications either question 47 or 48 must be "YES".
Fire Verification
049 FIRE VERIF
YES
Indicates whether relay number 2 will be used as a fire (or smoke) reset for the hardwired
zones of the system. If YES then relay #2 will be dedicated to the fire reset function.
If Fire Verification is not used then relay #2 is available for other purposes providing that no
zones are defined for FIRE- SMOKE purposes in question 143.
This question must be set to NO if relay 2 is desired for operation other than as a smoke
detector reset.
If a fire zone is programmed in the system and fire verification is set to NO, the panel will
automatically reset this question to YES.
If four wire smoke detectors are used in conjunction with multiplex adapters then the smoke reset
will originate from relay # 2.
Press the 0 key to toggle between the available choices.
Reset Key Function
050 ENAB RESET
NO
Indicates whether the system reset function can be performed through depression of the
key. This is an alternative to entry of a valid user code. The RESET function would be used
to acknowledge system activity such as alarms or troubles and to exit the alarm memory
mode.
