Only users with an authorization level of 1, 2 or 3 can modify other users.
While the keypad is viewing the following partitions:
PARTITION #1: USER #001 is a master user and can modify itself and user #002; USER
#003 can modify itself and users #002 and 004; USER #005 can modify itself and users
#002 and 006.
PARTITION #2: USER #001 is a master user and can modify itself and users #002, 003,
and 004; USER #003 can modify itself and user #004; USER #005 can modify itself and
users #004 and 006.
PARTITION #3: USER #001 is a master user and can modify itself and users #002, 005,
and 006; USER #003 can modify itself and users #004, 005 and 006; USER #005 can
modify itself and user #006.
Common Partition Example
The following figure provides a simple diagram of how a common partition system may be
configured for a small office building. In this figure, the occupants of Office 1 and Office 2
need to enter the building through a common lobby.
To program the system for this type of arrangement, zones and users should be defined as
follows:
1. Assume Zones 2 and 4 are for Windows and code these zones as an INSTANT ALARM
TYPE.
2. Assume Zones 1 and 3 are Interior Doors and code these zones as EXIT/ENTRY.
