6. Transfer Roller Cleaning
The residual toner left on the surface of the Transfer Roller is removed by an
alternating DC charge that transfers the waste toner back to the Transfer Belt
for collection by the Transfer Belt cleaning blade.

7. Transfer Belt Cleaning
A charge is applied to the Transfer Belt. By potential difference, residual toner
on the surface of the Transfer Belt is collected for cleaning. The toner scraped
off the surface of the photo conductor is collected in the Imaging Unit.
8. Fusing
Toner is permanently fused to the paper by the combination of heat and
pressure applied by the Fuser.
