REMOVING THE CHAIN SHOE

•
Position the vehicle on its rear stand (OPT).
•
Release and remove the three screws.
•
Remove the pinion cover.
•
Slacken the chain tension.
•
Release and remove the pinion screw and collect the
washers.
IMPORTANT When refitting, apply LOCTITE® Anti-Seize to
the inner pinion toothing and LOCTITE® 243 to the screw
threads.
•
Loosen and remove the two left rider foot peg cover
screws.
•
Loosen and remove the upper chain shoe screw and
collect its washer.
