Record a Prompt [Press 7]
The Emerald ICE Flash Voice Mail System is shipped with a complete set of system
voice prompts. These system prompts cover all system operations and functions.
There may be occasions, however, where it is desired to change the wording of a
prompt to meet a specific requirement of a customer. This function allows such
changes.
The prompts supplied with the system are listed herein in Section 8.

All of the supplied prompts are the same voice and volume level. If you desire to re-
record a prompt, you are responsible for making sure that the volume level and tonal
quality is approximately the same
DO NOT change any of the listed options and their activation keys. If you do, the
customer will become confused when the options do not work as expected. There is
no way to change these option assignments in the field..
To re-record a system prompt:
1. Access the System Administratorʹs Mailbox as described on page 6-1. The
Administrator Options Menu now plays.
2. Press 7 to record a prompt. You will be prompted: "Please enter your three
digit prompt number".
3. Enter the number of the prompt you want to re-record. You will hear a beep
and the system will begin to record the prompt. Press # when you are done.
You will be returned to the Administrator Options Menu.
4. Press 7 if you need to re-record another prompt.
5. If you are done recording prompts, you may now:
a. Press 1-9... to select another System Administrator task to perform.
b. Press * ........ to return to the system Main CCR Menu.
c. Press **.... to exit the system completely.
