Temp Grt On (01-09) - If this field is set to Y then the Temp Greeting as programmed
in the DAY programming section for the port will be played to a caller. If this field is
set to N then the Greeting Number programmed will be played to the caller. This
option may be changed from the System Administrator's Mailbox from any
telephone - internal or external.
Temp Greeting (01-09) - if Temp Grt On is active (Y) this is the greeting that will play
when this port answers. You can program an emergency office greeting (in the event
of a storm, for instance) that states that the company is closed. This temporary
greeting could also be used as a holiday greeting. The Temp Greeting may be
programmed from a remote location via the System Administrator Mailbox
Functions. (Refer to the System Administrator Mailbox Functions section, beginning
on page 6-1.)
Using a temporary greeting prevents you from having to re-record over the opening
or closing greetings. You can activate the temporary greeting anytime from any
phone. Select one of the remaining greetings. For example, we can select Greeting
Number 4 as the temporary greeting. If activated, this greeting would take the place
of the opening and closing greetings.
NoAnsGreeting – [Future option - leave set to value of 00.]
Autoatt Start - If this option is set to Y then the system goes off-hook on an incoming
call and waits for integration digits. This is the default setting and should not be
changed unless necessary. If this option is set to N then the system goes off-hook on
an incoming call and immediately plays the programmed greeting according to the
Open/Closed programming.
