Field Descriptions
Mailbox - the two fields below together make up the mailbox:
Mailboxes can be added manually or deleted manually but must be done so
individually. They can not be added or deleted using ranges of values.
4 will delete a mailbox while the cursor is placed at the first digit. (left side)
Access Code - the password designated by the mailbox owner for accessing the
mailbox. The default password is 0000. The mailbox owner may change their
password at any time via the Mailbox Options menu when they enter their mailbox.
Ext No - This is the station that will be the destination of callers when transferred by
the mailbox. The call will be automatically transferred to the number in this field. It
is also the number used when activating or deactivating MWI indicators.
Class of Service - the number of the assigned Class of Service as programmed in
Option 10 (Page 5-28.)
Dial Out - this field controls whether a given mailbox is allowed to make outcalls to
a beeper:
Beeper No - if a mailbox owner is allowed to make beeper outcalls, enter the beeper
number here. Only enter the actual beeper phone number. Emerald ICE Flash Voice
Mail System will look up the outdial access code from the PBX Integration Screen
that is currently active. 9 and 1 should be added to the First Digit Permissions on
the Number Plan screen (Figure 9).

No - the mailbox index number (this is generated automatically by the system)
Ext - the mailbox number that relates to the physical extension number in the
PBX.
Index No. 1 should be used as a general announcement.
Virtual Mailboxes - If a mailbox is to be used for taking messages ONLY, remove the
extension number from this field and leave it blank. If a caller dials this number
from a CCR, they will be placed directly into the mailbox to leave a message.
On - the mailbox is allowed to make outcalls
Off - the mailbox is not allowed to make outcalls
