Choice 3 - Deleting a Mailbox
You can use the System Administratorʹs mailbox to delete a mailbox by following the
steps below:
Deleting a mailbox is a permanent action and the mailbox or its messages cannot be
recovered once the delete action is confirmed by pressing the
To delete a mailbox, perform the following steps:
1. Access the System Administratorʹs Mailbox as described on page 6-1. The
Administrator's Options Menu now plays.
2. Dial 2 for Mailbox Administration. You will be prompted to enter the mailbox
number that you wish to delete. For example, to delete Mailbox 30, press 30.
At the next prompt, press 3 to Delete the Mailbox. You will be prompted: "Press
pound to confirm deletion of this mailbox, star to cancel".
3. Depending on your selection:
a. Press # - the system will announce that the mailbox has been deleted
and return you to Step 2
b. Press * - the deletion will be cancelled and you will be returned to Step
2
4. You may now:
a. Press 1-9 ...... to select another System Administrator task to perform
b. Press *............ to return to the system Main CCR Menu
c. Press **........ to exit the system completely
