Final drive -Differential, differential lock
Sealing ring for limited-slip differential --Removing and installing halfshaft flange
Note
The sealing rings can also be replaced with the
transmission installed.
Removal
1. Remove right halfshaft flange. To do this,
place a chisel or spacer "A" under the
halfshaft flange and pullout the halfshaft
flange by turning the screw "B".

2. Lever out sealing ring using a suitable tool.

Note
Pull out left halfshaft flange by screwing in the
hexagon-head bolts "A" on alternate sides. The
bolts must be supported on the rib reinforce-
ments of the cover (see Figure).
