Sealing ring for limited-slip differential --Removing and installing halfshaft flange
Note
The sealing rings can also be replaced with the
transmission installed.
Installation
1. Fill the space between the dust and sealing
lips with grease (e.g. Liqui -Moly) and drive in
the sealing ring up to the mounting face using
special tool 9252.
Removal
1. Unscrew fastening screw for halfshaft flange
and pull out halfshaft flange.

2. Tighten the fastening screw for the halfshaft
flange with 44 Nm (33 ftlb.).
