Key to symbols
53 = Disc thickness, transmission housing side
54 = Disc thickness, retaining plate side
55 = Disc thickness between 4-point bearing and gearwheel for 4th gear
(combination of two discs and deviation in the total disc thickness used
of ::t: 0.03 mm permissible)
52 = Disc thickness on small tapered roller bearing
51 = Disc thickness on large tapered roller bearing (crown wheel side)
E = Installation dimension. Max. deviation from the installation dimension engraved on the
crown wheel: :to.04 mm.
= Distance from centre of differential/flat surface in recess of the transmission housing
bearing bore
= Distance from centre of differential/flat surface of transmission housing
= Depth of the bearing opening in the retaining plate
= Bearing width of cylindrical-roller bearing
= Bearing width of 4-point bearing
