NAND—NOT AND is the best way to describe the
NAND gate. It is an inverted AND gate. When Input
A and Input B are ON, the Output is OFF.

is, as its name implies, Exclusively "OR". If Input A
OR Input B is ON, the Output will be ON. If Input A
and Input B are ON or OFF, the Output will be OFF.
