OIL COOLER
REMOVAL
• Remove the under cowling. (c::Ta-3)
• Drain the engine oil. (c::T2-13)
• Remove the oil cooler. (c::T3-4)
INSPECTION AND CLEANING
• Road dirt or trash stuck to the fins must be removed.
• Use of compressed air is recommended for this cleaning.
• Fins bent down or dented can be repaired by straightening
them with the blade of a small screwdriver.
INSTALLATION
• Install a new O-ring 0).

CAUTION
I
Use the new O-rings to prevent engine oil leakage.
NOTE:
Apply engine oil to the a-ring 0).
• Tighten the oil cooler hose bolts to the specified torque.

Oil cooler hose bolt: 10 N·m (1.0 kgf-m, 7.0 Ib-ft)
