CHASSIS
REMOUNTING
Remount the rear shock absorber in the reverse order of
removal.
Pay attention to the following points:
• Install the rear shock absorber and tighten the rear shock
absorber upper/lower mounting bolts and nuts.
~ Rear shock absorber mounting nut:
50 N·m (5.0 kgf-m, 36.0 Ib-ft)

179.6 mm (7.07 in)
8 clicks out from stiffest position
8 clicks out from stiffest position

SUSPENSION SETTING
After installing the rear suspension, adjust the spring pre-load
and damping force as follows.
SPRING PRE-LOAD ADJUSTMENT
The set length 184.6 mm (7.27 in) provides the maximum spring
pre-load.
The set length 174.6 mm (6.87 in) provides the minimum spring
pre-load.

STD Length: 179.6 mm (7.07 in)
DAMPING FORCE ADJUSTMENT
Rebound side
Fully turn the damping force adjuster G) clockwise. It is at stiffest
position and turn it out to standard setting position.
STD Position: 8 clicks out from stiffest position
[Fine-tune the adjuster by turning it slightly until two punch
marks align.]
Compression side
Fully turn the damping force adjuster 2 clockwise. It is at stiffest
position and turn it out to standard setting position.
