EXCV INSTALLATION
• Connect the EXCV cables temporarily to the EXCV pulley.
• Adjust the clearance
®
between the adjuster end and EXCV
pulley to provide 3 mm (0.12 in) and more.
• Adjust the inner cable length of the NO.2 cable. (c::::T6-7)
• Install the EXCV cover.
• Install the muffler joint pipe

together with the muffler body

Exhaust pipe connector bolt: 23 N·m
(2.3 kgf-m, 16.5 Ib-ft)
Muffler mounting bolt: 23 N·m (2.3 kgf-m, 16.5Ib-ft)
• Connect the NO.1 and NO.2 cables to the EXCVA pulley,
(c::::T6-5 and 14)
• Adjust the NO.2 cable adjuster thread length @. (c::::T6-5 and
14)
• Install the EXCVA pulley to its shaft. (c::::T6-6)

CAUTION
I
* The cable slots of EXCVA pulley must be located
forward (adjustment position). (c::::T6-4)
* Do not use the adjustable wrench to turn EXCVA pul-
ley so as not to cause damage to the internal gear of
EXCVA.
• Tighten the EXCVA pulley mounting bolt to the specified
torque. (c::::T6-14)

EXCVA pulley mounting bolt: 5 N·m (0.5 kgf-m, 3.5 Ib-ft)
