25. Remove the lower left cover [A] (2 screws), and move the jumper connector
[B] on the main board from JPS-202 to JPS-201.
-NOTE for European version machine-
The european version machines do not have the language ROM PCB in the operation palel assembly.
The language ROM PCB should be procured by the customer and then installed it as follows:
Raise the top unit ond remove the upper front cover. Install the proper
language ROM PCB [C] on the CPU PCB [D] (PCB mounting studs, 1 clamp,
and 40P connector).
26. Close the front doors.
feet [F], and level the machine by securing down the feet. Plug in the
power cord, and turn on the main switch.
While waiting for the fusing unit to warm up, install the copy tray [G]
and original tray [H] (4 screws: M4 x 8 mm).
Load paper in the upper and lower paper trays.
Perform drum conditioning for 1 minute as follows:
Place a white sheet of A3 or 11" x 17" paper on the exposure glass
a)
and lower the DF transport unit.
b) Use SP 1-3 (Free Run) for the drum conditioning.
30. Insert the sponge cushions [I] under the base plate of the copier at the
front and rear.
Then, insert the leveling shoes [E] under the
