2. Paper Feed Roller Replacement and Adjustment

1. Remove the duplex tray.

Unhook the pressure springs of the pick-up rollers [A], and remove the
two upper feed guides [B] (2 screws each).
Remove the bushing [C] for the feed roller shaft [D] from the front (1

E-ring).
4. Remove the outer and inner duplex tray drive gears
Remove the paper feed clutch collar [F] (1 Allen screw), the

clutch [G] (1 Allen screw), and the bushing
6.
Remove the brackets [I] (2 screws each) connected by the chain to the
pick-up roller brackets [J].
7. Remove the feed roller shaft complete with pick-up rollers and the feed
roller [K].
8.
Loosen the Allen screw of the pick-up roller gear [L] and slide off the
front pick-up roller assembly.
9.
Replace the paper feed roller (1 E-ring).
CAUTION: When reinstalling the feed clutch, check that the feed clutch stopper [M]
(Refer to "Duplex Tray Removal".)
is positioned on pin [N].
