unaffected by electrical noise.
When the main switch is turned on, the copier applies 100 volts ac to the sorter. A
step-down transformer supplies 29 volts ac and 8 volts ac.
The 29-volt and 8-volt ac inputs go to full wave rectifiers on the main
board. The dc voltages output by these rectifiers are regulated to +24
volts and +5 volts respectively.
