2. Lens Drive Wire Replacement

1.
Remove the upper front cover.
2.
Remove the top front cover, exposure
panel.
3.
Remove the lens housing cover (3
screws).
4. Remove the main switch [A] (2 screws).
5.
Using a flat blade screwdriver, turn the front mirror shift pulley [B]
counterclockwise.
6.
Remove the mirror shift wire
[D] .
7.
Remove the left support bracket [E] (2 screws) and the top unit release
lever assembly [F] (3 screws). (It is all right to let them hang from the
wires.)
8.
Remove the harnesses [G] from the three twist clamps [H] and discon-
nect the three connectors from their respective terminals around the
lens drive unit.
Insert the stopper pin [C] into the hole.
