Scanner Cover (Scanner Unit)

The scanner cover should be removed together with the ADF & document cover ASSY (for
models with ADF) or document cover (for models without ADF). For the removal and
disassembly procedures of the ADF & document cover ASSY, refer to
respectively.
(1) Open the scanner cover until it locks.
(2) Remove the CIS flat cable cover and the harness cover by inserting the tip of a flat
screwdriver into the slots and releasing the latches.
