How do you relight the pilot that has gone out on a Kozy Heat 56701. Tried cleaning it, turning it off, pushing in reset button nothing works.
To relight the pilot on a Kozy Heat 56701:
1. Turn off all electrical power to the appliance.
2. Open the lower grill to access the gas valve and controls.
3. Push the control knob in slightly and turn it clockwise to the OFF position. Wait 5 minutes to clear any gas.
4. Locate the pilot inside the combustion chamber.
5. Push the control knob in slightly and turn it counterclockwise to PILOT.
6. While holding the knob fully in, push the piezo ignitor button until the pilot lights (usually within 2–3 pushes).
7. Keep holding the knob in for about 1 minute after the pilot lights, then release. The knob should pop out and the pilot should stay lit.
8. If the pilot goes out, repeat steps 3–7.
9. If the pilot still will not stay lit, turn the knob to OFF and contact a service technician or gas supplier.
10. To proceed to burner operation, push the knob in slightly and turn it counterclockwise to ON.
