HORIZONTAL / VERTICAL COMBINATION
NOTE: Page 22 has information on restrictor installation in conjunction with venting installation.
Page 51 has information on restrictor recommendations depending on burner flame appearance and instructions on
installation after venting is completed.
Horizontal sections require 1/4" (6 mm) rise for every 12" (305 mm) of travel.
Flange on top stand-off must be bent upwards to a 90˚ angle when top venting.
For each additional elbow used after first elbow, 3 ft. (914 mm) must be subtracted from maximum venting allowed. For
each 45° elbow used, 1-1/2 ft. (457 mm) must be subtracted from maximum venting allowed.
(2) 45° degree elbows may be used in place of (1) 90° elbow.

CAUTION: This gas appliance must not be connected to or joined with any other chimney flue serving another appliance.
IMPORTANT: A WALL THIMBLE PASS-THRU MUST BE USED ON ALL HORIZONTAL VENT RUNS THAT PASS THROUGH
EITHER INTERIOR OR EXTERIOR WALLS. FOLLOW VENT SYSTEM MANUFACTURER‟S INSTRUCTIONS.
