Removing the Backplane Board

To remove the backplane board, follow these steps:
1. Remove the PCI riser assembly. For instructions, see
Assembly" on page
2. Remove the processor air duct. For instructions, see
Duct" on page
3. Disconnect all cables from the backplane board.
4. Remove the bridge board by opening the retention clips from the backplane and the
server board (see letter "A" in
Figure
5. Loosen the thumbscrew on the backplane board (see letter "A" in
