Chapter 4:

Introduction

This section describes how to run the System Setup Program on the workstation
after successfully installing the hardware.
The System Setup Program set the NCR 7448 components and offers the
following functions:
•
Shut down/ Reboot the NCR 7448 Workstation
•
Change the workstation system parameters
•
Self diagnostics
•
Install software
•
Backup/ Restore files
•
Support the functions which the user offers
•
Support for the LCD system and 2 x 20 Operator Display system
Note: When you use the 2x20 Operator Display follow the
same procedure as the LCD Operator Display.
Note: The Windows 98 user needs to install the "NCR 7448
Platform Software for Windows 98." Refer to Appendix B for the
installation procedure.
