PCI Expansion Header
A single expansion header is provided to support optional features, such as the
PCMCIA for Wireless LAN board. This board supports one Type 2 PCMCIA
type cards.

Magnetic Stripe Reader

An ISO 3-track MSR head and a JIS2 and ISO1 track MSR are available as an
option.
When card data is read, an interrupt is generated. A software device driver for
the MSR must be loaded in order to allow the application to process the data.

Flash Disk

The optional 8MB, 24MB, and 48MB flash disks provide non-volatile storage
that appear as hard disk to the system, allowing storage for program files and
data files.
Flash Disk Interface
The board provides support for a flash disk array in the form of an M-Systems
Disk-on-Chip. A 32-pin socket is provided for this feature. The flash disk must
be installed and enabled in BIOS Setup.
3.5 - inch Hard Disk Drive
A 3.5 - inch Hard Disk Drive provides storage for the platform/ application
software as well as system data/ parameter files. A 3.5 - inch IDE Hard Disk is
available to support Windows 98 and DOS. The drive is the standard type that is
used by PCs.
