How to Install the Compact Flash I/F Board

Caution: Before proceeding with any disassembly of the Base Unit, turn off the
power and disconnect the AC Power Cord.
This instruction shows how to install the Compact Flash I/F Board to the Flash
Disk Model Workstation or the Hard Disk Model workstation. The workstation
can install either PCMCIA expansion or Compact Flash I/F board.
1. Remove the Lower Cabinet*
2. Disconnect all the cables from the cable connectors on the workstation
3. Remove the bracket for the AC Adapters of Workstation and the AC
Adapter for a printer if it exists*
4. Remove the chassis*
5. Remove the PCMCIA Board (if it is installed) and the Personality Board*
6. Connect the Flat Cable to the IDE (J7) connector on the MediaGX
