Media Type

Sets the paper type. This setting is valid when a different type of paper of the same size
is set in the printer. [ANY] is set for this under normal circumstances.
Settings
The settings for this function are as follows.

DEFINE SIZE
The user-defined sizes are used to print images on non-standard paper sizes and long
images.
User-defined sizes can be specified for each standard size. It is possible to output all
images uniformly that exceed the standard sizes but are within the specified user-defined
sizes.

Chapter 4 Basic Machine Operations
When the paper type specification command is already set in the data from the host, the
host command has priority.
Menu Item
Selects the paper to be used for printing.
This parameter can be selected from [ANY], [BOND],
[TRACING] and [FILM].
The default setting is [ANY].
The user-defined sizes are only valid when the [Size] on the [Output Option] has been
set to [AUTO].
Menu Item
The name of the paper with the user-defined size.
The paper name will differ in accordance with the [Input size]
parameter set for the Media series. Refer to the table on the
following page.
Sets the length of the user-defined paper. Refer to the table on the
following page for the range in which the sizes can be set.
Refer to the section on "Media Series" for further details on paper groups (page 86).
